4 Non-Candy Halloween Treat Bags Kids Love

In the midst of food allergies and other dietary restrictions, it can be hard to find fun, easy Halloween treats, especially for school or parties. Recently, I designed some printable treat bag kits to help busy parents, teachers, and day care workers find a cost-effective alternative to candy goody bags.

Simply print your activity and bag toppers, assemble your treat bags, and give them to the kiddos! With a variety of designs and activities geared young children and strengthening fine motor skills, these Halloween craft kits will be an instant hit!

Here’s a look at my Halloween party favor kits:

Sew Spooking Lacing Cards

Six not-so-scary lacing cards make up this fun, interactive craft kit for kids. To make the lacing cards, simply print, laminate (recommended), and punch 4-8 holes around the edges. Print and cut out your bag toppers, add some colorful shoe strings or paracord, and you have an easy, inexpensive treat bag! Click here to see my selection of printable party favors on Etsy.

Halloween Treat Bag Printable Activity

Lacing and sewing activities mark wonderful ways to build coordination and fine motor skills. These cards are great for older toddlers through elementary age children.

Pumpkin Wrappin’

Print my treat bag topper and pumpkin graphic, add some yarn, and you’re ready to roll! I recommend laminating the pumpkin or using thick paper for longer durability. Wrapping activities help young children bmuumild fine motor skills. This treat bag is especially great for Montessori-style classrooms or kids who want a friendly (not scary) craft. Mummy Wrap It Kit

Similar to my pumpkin wrappin’ kit, this treat bag activity is designed to let kids wrap their own mummy. Print out the kit for the bag topper and mummy graphic, cut, and laminate the mummy (recommended). Add some white yarn, and you’re ready to give a frightfully fun craft! Play Dough Kit

With four mini play dough mats and two different bag topper designs, these cute treat bags will be a scream! The play dough mats help inspire creativity such as building a monster, adding spiders to the web, designing a superhero mask, or making some Halloween treats.

I like to add some goggly eyes, pipe cleaners (cut), and small containers of modeling dough. You can even make your own pumpkin spice play dough (like this recipe). Play dough marks a great tool to strengthen hands and build creativity for kids age 2 and older. Visit my Etsy shop to learn more.
